Job summary

Copello is seeking a highly skilled RF Systems Engineer for a 6 month contract on-site in Buckinghamshire. The role involves managing customer RF requirements, contributing to technical proposals, and coordinating with antenna and mechanical design teams to deliver compliant RF solutions.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in RF systems engineering and requirements management, with strong communication skills to interpret RFQ information and share updates with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF systems engineering and customer requirements management.
• Ability to support technical proposals and engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with RF industry standards (S1000D, ISO, FCC).

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis, review and substantiation with customers.
• Participate in qualification activities and associated documentation.
• Collaborate with Antenna Design and Mechanical Design teams to capture RF requirements within technical proposals.
• Support engineering design reviews, including PDR, CDR and TRR.
• Ensure compliance of technical documentation relating to RF products.
• Derive and manage system requirements and architecture.
• Support bid generation and requirements gap analysis.
• Assess market needs and the suitability of existing products to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor system-level capabilities and requirements across internal products and external teams.
• Take ownership of project work, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated RF Systems Engineer with experience in managing customer RF requirements and contributing to technical proposals. The role covers RF systems engineering, including system design, requirements management, verification and validation, working closely with antenna and mechanical design teams to deliver compliant technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis, review and substantiation with customers.
• Participate in qualification activities and associated documentation.
• Collaborate with Antenna Design and Mechanical Design teams to capture RF requirements within technical proposals.
• Support engineering design reviews, including PDR, CDR and TRR.
• Ensure compliance of technical documentation relating to RF products.
• Derive and manage system requirements and architecture.
