Job summary

A leading global energy recruitment service is looking for an RF/Microwave Design Engineer in Manchester. Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and deliver on project milestones.

• Schematic capture and PCB layout support.

Contract Opportunity: RF/Microwave Design Engineer

Location: Manchester (Greater Manchester)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract Length: 6 months (likely extension)

Day Rate: £65-£70 per hour (Outside IR35)

On-Site Requirement: 2 days per week on-site (remainder remote)

Key Responsibilities

• RF circuit design (LNA, PA, filters, mixers, oscillators)
• Schematic capture and PCB layout support
• RF simulation using tools such as ADS, HFSS, Microwave Office or similar
• Lab testing and characterisation of RF boards and prototypes
• Supporting design reviews and producing documentation
