Job summary

Target Integration Ltd. in Gloucester is seeking RF Engineers at multiple levels to join our defence, cyber and intelligence programmes.

You'll work on RF systems, from circuit modelling to deployable implementations, with opportunities to specialise in antennas, testing and security analysis. The role offers flexible, hybrid working where possible and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • RF communications systems implementation, test, and analysis.
  • RF circuit design and modelling experience.
  • Real-time test and measurement using spectrum analysers and vector network analysers.
  • Familiarity with using and developing for Software-defined radios.
  • Experience in RF algorithm development and Digital Signal Processing.
  • Antenna optimisation and characterisation experience.
  • Embedded systems vulnerability analysis.
  • Knowledge of OpenCPI, GnuRadio, Python, C/C++, and other SDR development tools.

Responsibilities

  • RF Circuit Modelling & Design - Develop and analyse RF circuits, from simulation to testing.
  • Antenna Selection & Design - Select and design antennas to meet the specific needs of various applications.
  • Test & Measurement - Conduct RF testing, including real-time test and measurement using vector signal analysers.
  • Vulnerability Analysis - Analyse and test RF systems to identify vulnerabilities and enhance security.
  • System Development & Verification - Support the development and verification of mission systems, with potential field trial involvement.
  • Specialist Tools Development - Design and develop bespoke research tools to support complex RF system analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
