Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced RF Design Consultant to provide expert-level hardware support for next-gen wireless terminals. You will be responsible for end-to-end design and optimization of RF subsystems with a focus on 5G, LTE, and WiFi standards. The role requires deep expertise in RF hardware design and circuit simulations. This is a primarily on-site position in Cambridge but allows flexibility in design phases. Qualifications

• Deep expertise in discrete RF hardware design including Transmitters and Receivers.
• In-depth understanding of 3GPP and 802.11 physical layer requirements.
• Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Complete component-level schematic design for high-power RF chains.
• Perform detailed circuit simulations to ensure design success.
• Deliver optimised hardware solutions for compatibility with 5G/LTE/4G and WiFi standards.
