Job summary

ADEPT0 Technical Recruitment Ltd has a vacancy for a REVIT MEP Coordinator to join a UK design team. The role focuses on coordinating HVAC, mechanical and electrical services across design and construction phases to deliver turnkey projects within BIM workflows.

Applicants should have five years of multi-disciplinary design experience, strong ISO9001 awareness, CDM knowledge, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and MS Office. A team-oriented, deadline-driven approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical / Laboratory / Healthcare Experience required.
• Have at least five years’ experience of working within a multidisciplined design practice.
• Experienced in production of designs that mature in co-ordination throughout the various stages of design delivery followed by construction delivery of turnkey projects for the HVAC, mechanical and electrical works.
• Conversant with ISO 9001 quality systems and procedures.
• Conversant with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of the CDM regulations.
• Have a customer focus with the ability to generate high-quality deliverables.
• Able to work as part of a team delivering a fully coordinated / integrated solution.
• Have good communication skills both written and verbal and be a team player, able to work to agreed structured deadlines with the production of accurate detailed drawings and documentation.
• Develop a working knowledge of the Company’s ISO9001 Quality System and safety management system.

Responsibilities

• Creation and coordination of MEP designs for HVAC, mechanical and electrical works across design and construction delivery.
• Coordinate with Senior Design Engineer to develop fully coordinated BIM models and templates.
• Produce accurate detailed drawings and documentation in line with company standards.
• Adhere to ISO9001 Quality System and CDM regulations throughout project delivery.

REVIT Skills

• Creation of fully coordinated MEP services from information conveyed to you from a Senior Design Engineer to industry standards.
• Be conversant with working with Central files.
• Be conversant with working in a collaborative environment.
• Having knowledge of content creation is an advantage, but not essential.
• Have a good knowledge of BIM and BIM Processes & Standards.
• Have knowledge of working with Templates, Titleblocks and shared parameters and project parameters.
• Have an excellent understanding of view control using visibility graphics, view filters and view templates.
• Have a good understanding of exporting models out of Revit into other formats for file exchanges.
• Have excellent 2D drawing presentation skills to be able to comply with the company’s minimum standards
