Revit / CAD Technician (MEP)

Location: Nottingham
Salary: £35K - £50K (Dependent on experience)

About the Role

An established Building Services Engineering Consultancy is seeking a skilled Revit / CAD Technician to support its multidisciplinary team in delivering coordinated MEP design solutions across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will produce high-quality 3D models and technical drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD, contributing to efficient and accurate BIM outputs throughout all project stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed 2D and 3D MEP models using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Apply company standards and best practices consistently across all drawings.
  • Support the development and implementation of Revit processes and BIM standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordination and design accuracy.
  • Manage project information and deliver work to agreed quality standards and deadlines.
About You
  • 2–3+ years of experience using Revit MEP within a building services or construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical building services systems.
  • Proficient in Revit MEP and AutoCAD (Navisworks experience advantageous).
  • Good working knowledge of BIM processes and coordination principles.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative with strong communication skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo, or other BIM‑related tools.
