Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a motivated intern for its Counter Adversary Operations team to research nation-state adversaries and advanced intrusions. The role combines reverse engineering, malware analysis, and automation development to deliver actionable indicators and insights.

The internship follows a hybrid UK model (Reading/London) and a remote Germany model, with 37.5-hour weeks and a mid-2027 to late-August 2027 window for the program.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in university studying Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field in your penultimate year (2028 Graduate).
• Eligible to work in the UK or Germany.
• Knowledge of reverse engineering tools (disassemblers, decompilers, debuggers) and processes.
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages, in particular Python.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Discover, investigate and track advanced cyber intrusions and document findings.
• Reverse engineer malware to understand tools and techniques used in intrusions.
• Develop automation tools for malware reverse engineering and threat actor tracking.
• Create host- and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting and detection.
• Produce high-quality threat intelligence reports with actionable guidance.
• Collaborate across teams to support mitigation and incident response.
