Job summary

Jellyfish, a leading global digital agency, is seeking a Revenue & WIP Accountant to join the Finance team in London. The role focuses on overseeing revenue and WIP, reconciling client project costs and ensuring accurate recognition under ASC606/IFRS15.

You will collaborate with commercial finance, client teams and revenue operations to resolve discrepancies, prepare journals, and support audits. Strong Excel, ERP (Sage X3) and Salesforce skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a financial role with the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L reviews.
• Strong communication across the organisation.
• Detail oriented and analytical with advanced Excel formula proficiency.
• Experience handling large Excel datasets and deriving meaningful analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue and WIP; review and close completed revenue projects.
• Identify and resolve revenue or billing discrepancies with finance and client teams.
• Process monthly revenue and cost of sales journals; reconcile project cost accruals.
• Reconcile revenue balances and report accrued/deferred income with commentary.
• Ensure revenue recognition per ASC606/IFRS15 and local GAAP; update FloQast reconciliations.
• Support annual audit with documentation and schedules.
• Assist month-end for non-revenue accounts and provide ad hoc support.
