Job description

As Revenue Operations Manager, you'll own the setup, optimisation and ongoing management of our commercial data stack — from CRM configuration and sales forecasting to executive reporting. You'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance and Delivery to ensure that we have a single source of truth on revenue, pipeline and performance. This is both a hands‑on systems role and a strategic business partner position; ideal for someone who thrives on building structure, insight and efficiency in a scaling consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities
Systems & Data
  • Own and optimise HubSpot CRM, ensuring accurate deal data, workflows and integrations.
  • Design and maintain reporting dashboards across CRM, Monday.com and Finance tools.
  • Manage data governance and quality—defining field ownership, validation rules and audit processes.
  • Automate routine reporting and reduce manual data entry through integrations and workflow tools.
Forecasting & Reporting
  • Lead the monthly forecasting process with Sales and Account Managers.
  • Deliver accurate revenue and margin forecasts (±5% variance to actuals).
  • Produce and continuously refine the monthly SLT commercial performance pack (pipeline, conversion, utilisation, and margin metrics).
  • Partner with Finance to reconcile CRM pipeline data with invoicing and revenue recognition.
Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Map and optimise the end‑to‑end quote‑to‑cash process.
  • Identify and implement system or process enhancements that improve visibility and speed of reporting.
  • Train and support sales and operations users to ensure adoption and consistent use of systems.
  • Champion a data‑driven culture within the commercial team.

You are structured, commercially minded, and love turning messy data into insight. You understand that good systems underpin great decision‑making and you can balance operational rigour with practical delivery.

Essential Experience
  • 4–8 years' experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations or Commercial Analytics, ideally in a services or consulting environment.
  • Hands‑on expertise with HubSpot (or Salesforce) including customisation, automation and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and Excel / Google Sheets skills; confident building dashboards or reports.
  • Experience managing or improving sales forecasting and pipeline accuracy.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable with senior audiences.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience integrating CRM data with finance or delivery systems (e.g. Monday.com, Xero, or PSA tools).
  • Understanding of consulting commercial models (T&M, SoW, margin tracking).
  • Exposure to automation tools (Make, Zapier, Power Automate, etc.).
Benefits
  • Join a rapidly expanding start‑up where personal growth is a part of our DNA.
  • Benefit from a flexible work environment focused on deliverable outcomes.
  • Receive private medical insurance through Aviva.
  • Enjoy the benefits of a company pension plan through Nest.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays.
  • Access Perkbox, a global employee rewards platform offering discounts, perks, and wellness resources.
  • Participate in a generous employee referral programme.
  • A highly collaborative and collegial environment with opportunities for career advancement.
  • Be encouraged to take bold steps and embrace a mindset of experimentation.
  • Choose your preferred device, PC or Mac.
Diversity & Inclusion
  • Valuing the unique experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds of all employees and creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected, and valued.
  • Prohibiting all forms of harassment, bullying, discrimination, and victimisation and promoting a culture of dignity and respect for all.
  • Educating all new hires on our Diversity and Inclusion policies and ensuring they are aware of their rights and responsibilities to create a safe and inclusive workplace.

By taking these steps, we are dedicated to building a workplace that reflects and celebrates the diversity of our employees and communities.

This role at Amber Labs is Full‑time, and all employees are required to meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). Please be advised that, at this time, we are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold a visa of any type.
