Revenue Manager – West Northamptonshire Council

We are seeking a Revenue Manager to lead revenue optimisation and financial planning. You will develop strategies, analyse financial data, prepare reports, ensure compliance, manage budgets, and support team development. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact the council’s financial performance while fostering continuous improvement.

Contract & Hours

Temporary full‑time role, 37 hours/week (09:00–17:30)

Contract: 02/12/2025 – 24/02/2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and monitor revenue management strategies to optimise income.
  • Analyse market trends, customer data, and historical financials.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and conduct account reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory standards.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and audit preparations.
  • Mentor and guide team members in accounting practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
  • Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (PeopleSoft, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).
  • Knowledge of GAAP, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and team‑management skills.
