Qualifications

About the Role

Baily Garner LLP is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Retrofit Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of retrofit projects in line with PAS 2035 standards. You will be responsible for overseeing project compliance, supporting design teams, and maintaining the highest standards of technical quality and client service. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a new service in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with PAS 2035 and understanding of PAS 2030 standards.
  • Oversee and manage retrofit projects from assessment to delivery.
  • Review and quality-check Retrofit Assessments and Designs.
  • Provide expert advice on improvement measures and additional survey requirements.
  • Conduct desktop analysis and site visits, producing detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external design teams.
  • Identify thermal bridges and simulate improvements using SAP modelling.
  • Attend project meetings, prepare minutes, and support CPD activities.
  • Contribute to research, marketing, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Client care, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
  • BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying
  • Level 5 Diplomain Retrofit Coordination and Risk Assessment
  • Level 3 Awardin Energy Efficiency and Retrofit of Traditional Buildings
  • Strong understanding of retrofit standards and risk assessment
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project deliverables
Desirable (but not essential)
  • MRICS - Chartered Building Surveyor
