This is a Fixed Term Contract, Part Time vacancy that will close in 12 days at 23:59 GMT.

The Role

There is the opportunity to join a small team of Retrievals Assistants whose role is to support the delivery of public services. Retrievals Assistants principally work behind the scenes of the study facilities; working across the National Art Library and the Prints and Drawings study room. They play an essential part in the delivery of the Department’s services to the public, responding to enquiries, retrieving material, preserving and re‑storing library items and providing invigilation services as required in the National Art Library. Retrievals Assistants also undertake clerical and administrative tasks to support the delivery of services.

Two Retrieval Assistant roles have become available. Role 1: 2 days a week, Role 2: 3 days a week, (Monday, Thursday and Friday are preferable, but this is flexible).
