Job summary

Tesco is hiring a part-time Colleague in the United Kingdom to provide friendly, natural service, help customers, and keep the store running smoothly. You’ll be part of an inclusive team delivering excellent service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll work with a minimum guaranteed 16 hours per week, with some roles starting at 12 hours. Shifts are scheduled within available windows, and you’ll receive notice of your shifts in advance.

Qualifications

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
• To be over 18 for this role.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.
