Tesco is hiring at one of our UK stores in St Helens. The role offers a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, with opportunities to work as few as 12 hours.

The colleague rate starts from £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25, with additional location-based payments possible. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, knowing the products, and working across store areas as needed.

• Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
• Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within my store.
• Working across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
• Putting into practice the training you have received, ensuring safety, efficiency and great service.
• Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering routines that meet customer needs.
• Participating in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Understanding store performance and your role in driving service, sales, and reducing waste.
• Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
• Being yourself, living our values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
• Occasionally you may be asked to accept deliveries into the store.
