Job summary

Home Bargains is seeking a Store Team Member in the United Kingdom to greet customers, replenish shelves, and work across departments from fresh food to seasonal items. The role is fast-paced, hands-on, and requires flexibility for early mornings and weekends, with shifts from 5am to 9am as part of a 20-hour week.

You will play a key part in delivering high standards and a welcoming store atmosphere, helping customers find items and ensuring stock is well-presented.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and adapt quickly.
• Strong communication and a helpful, can-do attitude.
• Comfort with fast-paced, hands-on retail work.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Be the smile that makes a difference: you will be the face of Home Bargains, providing enthusiastic customer service by assisting with product queries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Teamwork makes the dream work: support across departments like fresh food, bakery, Café, and Garden Centre to maintain high standards.
• Keep the momentum going: take charge during fill shifts by unloading deliveries and getting stock on shelves for customers.
• No two days are the same: you’ll rotate through tills, cash handling, restocking, and other roles in-store.
