Qualifications

• Experience of working in a retail environment.
• Experience of managing staff.
• Experience of dealing with customer complaints and queries.
• Experience of working with volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Assist the shop manager to manage retail activities of the Guild shop.
• Deliver training to ensure Volunteer staff are competent and customer-focused.
• Promote sale of Guild branded souvenirs.
• Manage infection control within the shop, store and trolley service.

Skills

Ability to motivate a team to provide excellent customer service

Excellent communication skills with customers and volunteers

Able to listen to concerns of volunteers and knowing when to escalate to line manager

Education

Qualified by experience

Good command of written and spoken English

Competence in numeracy
