Pay & Benefits

• Hourly rate £13.11
• Minimum £209 per week

Responsibilities

• Support the manager as part of the management team to run the shop efficiently and provide excellent service to customers
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are handled quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop a team of retail assistants
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll

• Trustworthy and reliable – an important part of a small team
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industry is preferred but not essential – we welcome applicants who think they can take the first steps in a retail management career
