Job summary

Farmfoods in Mansfield is recruiting a Retail Supervisor for a permanent 39-hour full-time position. The role requires working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week, with full flexibility including weekends.

You will be part of the shop management, opening/closing, handling cash, and controlling costs while delivering great customer service. Benefits include 6 weeks holiday, 30 days holiday, 15% staff discount, a smart uniform, life cover and pension.

• Some experience in supervision or management in retail or similar, helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to our customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in your manager’s absence ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed, and routines completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for controlling operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
