Job summary

Compass Group UK&I's Medirest division is recruiting a Retail Supervisor on a part-time basis (16 hours per week) to support healthcare catering operations. You will supervise frontline staff, manage till operations, and help with stock control, rotas, and bookwork, while delivering excellent customer service in a hospital setting.

The role requires a positive team player with good communication skills who can thrive under pressure and uphold Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health & Safety

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on great customer service.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Using the till, taking orders and receiving payments.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Retail Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a part time basis, contracted to 16 hours per week.
