Job summary

ManpowerGroup UK is recruiting a Store Assistant in Birmingham on a temporary basis with an immediate start. Location is 60-72, Off New Town Row, Lower Tower St, B6 4HP. Pay rate is £13.18 per hour, with 20 hours per week and 7am starts, flexible on working days.

Typical duties include serving customers, cash handling, computerised till operation, uploading and stocking displays, and clerical tasks. Retail experience and a flexible attitude are preferred.

Qualifications

• General Store Assistant Duties.
• Retail - Clerical and Stock Control Duties.
• Good customer service skills are essential.
• Candidates will also ideally have retail experience.
• DIY experience/knowledge would be preferred but not essential.
• Candidates need to have a flexible attitude, duties include serving customers, cash handling, computerised till operation, uploading and stocking displays.

Responsibilities

• Take orders over the telephone

• Carry out general clerical duties as requested by Store Manager
• Forward returns, completed delivery notes etc to Head Office
