Job summary

Retail Asset Solutions is hiring Retail Stock Counters to join our team working across multiple retail sites. You will count stock quickly and accurately using handheld scanners, with some locations offering free minibus transport.

The role requires standing for long periods and traveling across shifts, typically 3–4 x 8–12 hour shifts per week. Applicants must be 18+ and willing to work unsociable hours; a quick learner with a can-do attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and able to work unsociable hours including early mornings or night shifts.
• Can-do attitude with the ability to work long shifts on large counts.
• Technological adaptability due to changing systems in use.

Responsibilities

• Count stock quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Be able to stand for long periods and use equipment to reach high stock.
• Travel to different retail sites; shifts 3–4 per week of 8–12 hours.
• Minibus transport may be provided for some locations.

Retail Asset Solutions are looking to take on Retail Stock Counters to join our already existing minibus teams.

The Company

The Role

• We are looking for Retail stock counters to add to our already successful team.
• Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Certain locations will have minibus transport provided free of charge.
• You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock
• Typical working week will consist of 3-4 x 8-12hr shifts

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and during the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.
