Job summary

BardWood Support Services in the UK is seeking a reliable Retail Security Officer for a well-known retail store in Hayes. You will patrol the premises, monitor entry and exit points, and help ensure the safety of staff and visitors.

This role is 32 hours per week, Thursday to Sunday, at £13.45 per hour. A valid SIA license and a 5-year checkable work history are required; prior security experience is advantageous. The position is offered with permanent transfer after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• SIA license is required.
• 5-year checkable work history is required.
• Experience in a similar security role is advantageous.
• Candidate should be physically capable of demanding tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and stay composed.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the Retail Store Premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points and respond to disturbances.
• Call for help in emergencies and operate theft-detecting devices.
• Build positive relations with staff and customers.
