Job summary

Mitie is hiring a Security Officer in Scotland to protect property, people and assets in line with assignment instructions and client SLAs. The role requires compliance with UK law, maintaining front-line SIA licensing, and ongoing training to support service quality.

You will work to ensure safety, reference incident reports, and renew licences 16 weeks before expiry while delivering dependable security services to clients and protecting critical sites.

Qualifications

• Previous Security Experience is required.
• SIA Licence is required.
• SC Clearance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with policies and legal/regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager, in line with UK law.
• Fully complete tasks on site as defined in the published Assignment Instructions (AIs).
• Renew front-line licence 16 weeks before expiry and maintain required training.
• Maintain incident notebooks and report hazards or threats promptly.
• Follow instructions and work in a systematic, orderly manner to protect customer property and assets.
