Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a security officer to provide a visible security presence at client locations and respond promptly to incidents. You will uphold PSA standards, maintain high levels of customer service, and adhere to health and safety policies while wearing the designated uniform.

The role requires reliable, punctual individuals with strong communication and reporting skills, and a valid PSA licence to operate CCTV systems where required.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous experience in a busy security role.
• Strong people and customer service skills.
• Effective communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work with CCTV systems.
• Well presented, punctual and detail oriented.
• Current, valid PSA Licence.
• Clear 5-year work history including references.

About The Role:

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain a security presence at our client sites, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for customers and members of the public
• Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies
• Represent the company in a professional manner and maintain PSA standards in relation to code of conduct
• To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adhering to the requirements of the company’s health and safety policy and health and safety management plans. To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service
• To adhere to the company’s dress code and wear the correct uniform

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have Right to Work in the UK
• Previous experience in a busy security role
• Strong people and customer service skills
• Effective communication and report writing skills
• Ability to work with CCTV systems
• You need to be well presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail
• Current, valid PSA Licence
• Must be able to provide clear and complete 5-year work history including references
