Job summary

A leading security services provider in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking a security officer to deliver exceptional customer service, conduct store patrols, and liaise with management and the police to enhance safety and reduce crime. Candidates should ideally hold a current SIA licence, although training may be provided. A comprehensive 5-year vetting process is mandatory for all applicants.

Qualifications

• Current SIA licence or SIA Certificates preferred, training may be available.
• Full 5-year checkable employment/education history required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service.
• Deter violence and public order offences.
• Conduct patrols of the store.
• Utilise CCTV systems to reduce crime and stock loss.
• Liaise with store management teams.
• Work with Police and crime partnerships to reduce in-store crime.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to enhance safety.

Qualifications

It is preferable that you hold a current SIA licence or SIA Certificates (but in some circumstances training for a licence can be provided).

Main Duties

• To deliver industry leading customer service
• To deter violence and public order offences
• To conduct patrols of the store
• Utilising CCTV systems to support the reduction of crime and stock loss
• Liaise with the store management teams
• Liaise with the Police and crime partnerships where required to foster a great working relationship to support the reduction of crime in store
• To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
