Job summary

DCK Group in Oxford is seeking a friendly Retail Assistant to support in-store merchandising and customer service. You will handle deliveries, restock, and set up promotions while building strong relationships with store teams.

This part-time role involves 9 hours per week across Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with shifts starting between 9am and 10am. A background in fashion retail and a smartphone is preferred, and travel to nearby stores may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer-facing setting is required; fashion brands are a plus.
• Sales and/or retail experience is preferred.
• Access to an up-to-date smartphone (Apple or Android).

Overview

DCK is one of the world's leading fashion jewellery companies, working with many well‑known retailers and high street fashion brands. Our Retail Assistants provide face‑to‑face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. This role is based in Oxford and may require travel to other stores within the zone.

Shift Pattern

9 hours per week: 2.5 hours Monday, 2.5 hours Wednesday & 4 hours Friday. Shift starts between 9am and 10am.

Job role

You will be customer‑focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude. You will complete various in‑store activities, including:

• Merchandising our product to visual merchandising guidelines
• Putting out deliveries of new stock
• Maintaining housekeeping standards
• Setting up promotional activities
• Working with host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales

Note: The Christmas period is the busiest time; leave cannot be authorised in December.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a customer‑facing setting is required; fashion brands are a plus.
• Sales and/or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up‑to‑date operating system.
