Job summary

DCK Group is seeking a Retail Sales Merchandiser for Newtownards. The role requires you to cover two hours on Wednesdays, with shifts typically between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Own vehicle and full driving licence are essential to travel between stores within your zone.

The position offers engagement with leading fashion jewellery brands and career development opportunities. You will work alongside a Team Leader to merchandise products, stock deliveries, and establish promotional activity.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer-facing setting is required, fashion brands are a plus.
• Sales and/or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to a smartphone with up-to-date OS is required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising products to visual guidelines.
• Handle deliveries of new stock and maintain clean store standards.
• Set up promotional activities and support host teams to improve sales.

Role Title - Retail Sales Merchandiser - Newtownards - 2 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift pattern - 2 Wednesday

Working hours: The required start time for this role is between 9:00am and 5:00pm

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Newtownards butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines
• Putting out deliveries of new stock
• Maintaining housekeeping standards
• Setting up promotional activities
• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Please note - The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Requirements;

• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
