Job summary

DCK is seeking a Retail Sales Merchandiser to support our Manchester Failsworth stores with merchandising and stock activities. This part-time role requires access to a car and a full driving licence, with shifts around 9:00am–5:00pm and Fridays as noted.

You will join a team led by a Team Leader and will travel to stores within your zone as needed. Salary is £12.71 per hour, with benefits including mileage/parking (£), jewellery discounts, pension, life assurance, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous customer-facing experience preferred.
• Experience in retail or fashion brands is a plus.
• Own access to a smartphone (Apple or Android) with up-to-date OS.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to visual guidelines.
• Handle deliveries of new stock.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in-store.
• Set up promotional activities.

Role Title - Retail Sales Merchandiser- Manchester Failsworth - 3 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift pattern - 3Friday

Working hours: The required start time for this role is between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Manchester Failsworth butmay berequired to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines
• Putting out deliveries of new stock
• Maintaining housekeeping standards
• Setting up promotional activities
• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Please note - The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Requirements;

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is preferred, working in retail or with fashion brands is a plus.
• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred
• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
