Retail Sales Assistant (Christmas Temp)

Location: So-Mini Store Edinburgh

Contract Type: Temporary Part-Time

Duration: November 2025 - December 2025

MINISO is a lifestyle design‑led business that has been enjoying huge growth across the globe since its inception in 2013. In just 9 years it operates in over 105 countries with almost 5000 stores worldwide.

The first MINISO UK store was launched with great success in November 2019 in Ealing Broadway Centre London and we have several more store openings in 2024 and huge expansion plans over the next few years.

We are looking for Sales Assistants ready over the Christmas Period. This will be a 1‑month contract to help support us through the Christmas period in our Edinburgh Store. Depending on the candidate’s success in the role there is also an opportunity to transition to a permanent contract.

THE ROLE

Sales Assistant

Our Sales Assistants must be prepared to work within a fast‑paced retail environment and hit the ground running, demonstrating the following skills:

  • Previous work experience preferred (but not essential)
  • Quick and eager to learn
  • Customer‑focused approach
  • The ability to work well within a team as well as using own initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible, dynamic and energetic with a positive outlook
  • Passion for retail
