Job description

The Candidate will work closely with the sales team to help grow the business by serving customers face to face in store, by telephone, email and social media. The role will involve learning how branded apparel is embroidered and printed to suggest appropriate garment decorations available to the customer. Someone with an interest in social media would be an advantage.The Role will be in a Retail sales environment. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required with the ability to work under pressure and part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Maximising every opportunity to increase sales and customer satisfaction. You’ll welcome customers and understand what they need, guide them to find the right product for their needs.
  • Operating Quickbooks and Point of Sale Software.
  • Keeping on top of warehouse management including re-stocking and general cleaning/tidying.
  • Help Manage social media and marketing plans plans for Facebook/Instagram/ Ad campaigns etc.
  • Photograph Orders for Social media/advertising use.
  • Help the internal team with shop displays and retail merchandising
  • Process orders via email, website, ebay, phone and messenger.
  • Check data accuracy in orders and invoicing customers.
  • Liaising with production staff to make sure orders are completed correctly and on time.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Candidates must have a confident manner, be able to build rapport with customers and have experience in fact finding, consulting with customers and objection handling.
  • Sales Driven.
  • Interests in Online Marketing/Social Media.
Further Information

Hours of work are Wednesday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.1 Saturday Per month 10am 2pm may also be required.What GMG offer:Great rates of pay that will be dependent on your experience.Typical working hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm.17 Paid holidays to include bank holidays and a Christmas shut down.
