Job summary

A popular fashion retailer in the City Of London is seeking a customer service representative to optimise sales and engage with customers. The ideal candidate will have retail experience, a passion for fashion, and the ability to thrive under pressure. The role requires flexibility in working hours, especially during busy periods, with a pay rate of £12.40 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer service role with face-to-face contact is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a retail environment with a quality brand is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge and understanding of High Street fashion.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize sales and individual customer purchases.
  • Engage the customer by delivering first-class customer service.
  • Operate till and handle financial transactions.
  • Replenish stock with products and specialist brands.
  • Assist with deliveries and stock handling regularly.
  • Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties.
  • Ensure compliance with all company procedures.

Hours

The contracted hours stated above are a minimum guaranteed number of weekly hours but there is an expectation to work more hours and flexible hours is required especially during peak trading periods.

Pay

Pay Rates: £12.40 per hour regardless of age.
