poltronesofà UK is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Advisor at our Dearne Valley (Barnsley) store. You will welcome customers, help them choose the perfect furniture and deliver a standout shopping experience from start to finish.

This role fits around study or family life, offering flexible hours and uncapped commission potential. The position is 24 hours across 3 days with a supportive team and generous benefits.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the Dearne Valley store and help them find the right furniture.
• Accurately complete orders and process finance applications.

• Collaborate with the team to deliver a 5-star customer experience.
• Keep showroom tidy through housekeeping and moving furniture as needed.
• Ensure the showroom is welcoming, safe and well-presented.

Compensation: £10.85 - £12.71 / hour

Job Description

As part of our Retail team, you’ll welcome customers into our Dearne Valley store, help them find the perfect furniture for their home, and deliver a fantastic customer experience from start to finish.

This is a great opportunity for people with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service. Offering Part-time hours designed to fit around study, family life, or other commitments

This role is for 24 hours per week across 3 days.

What does the role involve?

• Welcome customers into the store and support them in finding the perfect piece of furniture for their home
• Accurately complete customer orders and process finance applications
• Work towards individual sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service
• Work within the team to deliver a 5 star customer experience
• Make sure the showrooms look their best through general housekeeping, cleaning and moving furniture when it’s needed
• Help to make sure our showrooms are warm, friendly, safe environments for everyone within them
• Continuously develop and maintain knowledge on all poltronesofà products and services
• Undertake, as required, other duties in keeping with the general nature of the role
