eXPD8 Ltd. is seeking a Beauty Retail Merchandiser to join our field-based team in the West Thurrock area, mainly based at Primark Lakeside.

You’ll drive sales by keeping stands stocked and visually appealing, organising products and following planograms to ensure consistency across stores. You will be part of a trial for a new beauty brand, with a fixed-term contract ending 9 January 2027 and potential progression to permanent roles for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail.
• Ability to work at pace to fill stands quickly and accurately.
• Take ownership of tasks and manage time within deadlines.
• Move and arrange products from warehouse to shopfloor.
• Comfortable using a company tablet to download briefs and capture information.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Ensure stock is on shelves to drive sales.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder to avoid shortages.
• Become an expert on Health and Beauty brands, products and trends.
• Follow merchandising standards, planograms and health and safety guidelines.
• Set up promotional displays and signage showing prices, discounts, and offers.
• Build positive relationships with in-store colleagues and store managers.
• Provide feedback to client account teams via the feedback app.

eXPD8 have got an exciting opportunity to join us as a Beauty Retail Merchandiser based in the West Thurrock area. You will be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, helping launch a new Beauty brand into a high street store. You'll be responsible for driving sales by ensuring the stands are completely full of stock as these brands sell fast!

About the role:

This role will primarily be based within Primark Lakeside

This is a fixed term contract that ends 9th January 2027, however there would be opportunity for the right candidate to move to permanent work.

Confirmed working hours: 12

Sunday 15:00- 19:00Monday 11:00 - 13:00Thursday: 11:00 - 13:00Friday: 17:00 - 21:00

This is a trial for a new brand so flexibility on hours and days may be needed. Inductions for this role will commence mid October.

• -You will arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• -Ensuring as much stock as possible is out on shelves in order to drive sales.
• -Monitor stock levels and order products to avoid shortages.
• -Become an expert on Health and Beauty, including brands, products and trends.
• -Follow the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
• -Follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• -Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• -Build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• -You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!

• -Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling! You'll need to move and arrange our products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
• -Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
