Job description

Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye‑catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?

If so, eXPD8 is looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the Chatham area. You will be an integral part of a field‑based merchandising team, working on behalf of popular household brands. Though based in one area, you will have opportunities across a variety of stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well‑stocked.

About the role

This role spans categories such as Books, DVDs, CDs, General Merchandise, Household items, and more.

Confirmed working days/hours

• Monday: AM or PM
• Friday: AM or PM
• Plus ad hoc work as agreed

How you'll deliver excellence

• Compliance and Standards – adhere to merchandising guidelines, store policies, procedures and health and safety guidance, and follow planograms where provided.
• Product Placement and Replenishment – organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point‑of‑Sale Setup – set up displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts and special offers.
• Strong communication and relationship building – maintain good working relationships with in‑store colleagues, department and store managers, and provide accurate, timely feedback to client account teams via our feedback application.

• Comfortable with manual handling – moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
• Willingness to accept home deliveries of POS or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
• Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer task questions.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car – required.
