Job summary

Expd8 Limited is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to join our field-based team in the Grimsby area. You will ensure fixtures are set up, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked across a variety of stores.

The role covers cosmetics, general merchandise, and more, with scheduled hours across the week and ad hoc visits. A full UK driving licence and car access are required.

Qualifications

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thrive having ownership of your own work within set time frames, using your own initiative to find solutions.
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
• Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling.
• Be willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (paid extra).
• Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks.
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is required.

Responsibilities

• Compliance and Standards: follow merchandising standards, store policies and health and safety guidance.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: arrange products on shelves to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and POS Setup: set up displays and signage for prices, discounts, and offers.
• Feedback: provide timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback app in stores.

If so at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the Grimsby area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

Confirmed working days/hours

• Monday: 2 hours
• Wednesday: 1 hour
• Thursday: 2 hours

Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

How you'll deliver excellence

• Compliance and Standards
  • You'll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
  • You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment
  • You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
  • You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• You'll build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
  • You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!
