Job description

Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye‑catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?

At eXPD8 we’re looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Evesham (WR11 4XF). You’ll be an integral part of a field‑based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Though based in one area, you will have work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

About the role

This role will involve a range of categories, including general merchandising – books, gift cards and cosmetics.

Confirmed working days/hours

• Monday 08:00 – 10:00
• Wednesday 08:00 – 10:30
• Thursday 08:00 – 11:30
• Plus ad hoc work as agreed.

How you'll deliver excellence

Compliance and Standards

• You’ll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
• You’ll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.

Product Placement and Replenishment

• You’ll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.

Promotional and Point of Sale Setup

• You’ll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts and special offers.

Strong communication and relationship building

• You’ll build and maintain good working relationships with in‑store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• You’ll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams via our feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in the stores.

• Being comfortable with some manual handling – moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shop floor.
• Willingness to accept home deliveries of point‑of‑sale or stock items for some visits (you’ll be paid extra to do so).
• Confidence using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car.
