Retail Merchandiser Role in Ashford

We're seeking a Retail Merchandiser based in the Ashford area to join our field-based retail merchandising team. The primary focus will be within The Entertainer concession at Tesco, with potential opportunities across other categories such as Books and Entertainment, and Health and Beauty.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Setting up fixtures effectively
2. Displaying products and promotions attractively
3. Keeping shelves well-stocked

Role Details

This position is mainly based within the TN24 postcode area.

Confirmed working hours are:

• Tuesday: 9am to 1:30pm (4.5 hours)
• Saturday: 12pm to 4pm (4 hours)

Additional ad hoc work may be available, subject to interest and agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Expertise in The Entertainer: Know the brand and products thoroughly and share this knowledge with your team.
• Compliance and Standards: Follow merchandising standards, store policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines. Implement planograms to ensure consistency.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: Organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
• Promotional Setup: Set up promotional displays and signage to communicate prices, discounts, and offers effectively.
• Communication and Relationships: Build and maintain good relationships with store colleagues and managers. Provide timely feedback via our feedback application.

• Willingness to handle manual tasks, including moving stock

• Comfort with using a company tablet for tasks such as downloading briefs and taking photos
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
