Job summary

eXPD8 Ltd. is seeking a Retail Merchandiser in the Aldgate area to join our field-based merchandising team. You’ll set up fixtures, stock shelves, and display promotions across multiple stores, taking ownership of your work and building good relationships with store staff.

This fixed-term contract runs until 29 January 2027 with potential for permanency; you’ll drive product placements, follow planograms, and may handle home-delivery of POS. A UK driving license and car access are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thrive with ownership of own work within set time frames.
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for clients.
• Be comfortable with manual handling and moving products.
• Open to delivering POS or stock items to stores (paid extra).
• Able to use a company tablet to download briefs and answer questions.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement planograms to ensure consistency.

Job description

Do you have what it takes to make the shelves irresistible to shoppers? Do you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays? Do you have an eye for detail?

If so at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the Aldgate area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

About the role:

This role will be work across a variety of categories including: This vacancy is in multiple sites and retailers -The categories are Entertainment, Gift cards, Haircare, Beauty, Telecomm an Ad hoc calls.

Confirmed working days/hours:

Monday: AM or PM start

Tuesday: AM or PM start

Wednesday: AM or PM start

Thursday: AM or PM start

Friday: AM or PM start

Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed!

This is a fixed term contract that ends 29th January 2027, however there would be opportunity for the right candidate to move to permanent work.

• -Compliance and Standards
• -You'll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
• -You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• -Product Placement and Replenishment
• -You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• -Promotional and Point of Sale Setup
• -You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• -Strong communication and relationship building

• -You'll build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• -You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Thrive having ownership of your own work within set time frames, using your own initiative to find solutions
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients
• Be comfortable with a bit of manual handling! You'll need to move and arrange our products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.
• Are willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (you'll be paid extra to do so)
• Are confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about your tasks
• A full UK driving license and access to a car is required
