A leading employee-owned retailer in the UK is seeking a Marketing professional to support their Retail Media offering. This hybrid role involves building relationships with brands, executing media plans, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate has experience in marketing campaigns and a strong capacity to manage stakeholders. This position offers a salary of up to £36,000 depending on experience.
About the roleOpportunity is unfolding here at the John Lewis Partnership. Our Insights and Media division is a proven, high-growth area and a core priority for driving profit across the Partnership. As we onboard new and exciting Ad Tech platforms within the Strategy and Development team, we are scaling up our capability and collaborating closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams. We are looking for support to accelerate our Retail Media offering, making our powerful propositions accessible to every single supplier. Expected salary - Salary up to £36,000 depending on experience.
Contract type - This is a permanent position.
Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The Retail Media Proposition Strategy and Development team aim for around 1-2 days a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings.
Location - This role is based at our Pimlico head office.
Build relationships externally with brands across various categories.
Work across matrix teams internally including sales, media and planners.
Work alongside Proposition Managers to shape the Ad Tech product roadmap and drive profit targets.
Responsible for executing end to end media plans for Sponsored Products and Sponsored Banner campaigns for certain suppliers (across JL.com and app).
Keeps track of booking calendars for tenancy placements including house ads (across JL.com and app).
Produce proof of execution and share reporting to suppliers with recommendations for future activity.
Actively perform spot checks and offer optimisation recommendations to Proposition Managers.
Identify challenges and work with Proposition Managers to create potential solutions, offering the best possible experience for suppliers.
Provide training to internal and external teams to ensure Ad Tech platforms are being used to their full potential.
Experience in marketing or executing media campaigns.
Experience working with complex projects and managing multiple Stakeholders.
Proven ability to build, maintain and influence a wide range of stakeholders across multiple teams internally as well as external brands and service providers.
Evidence in strong written and verbal communication.
Experience working in a collaborative environment and have a can do attitude.
Commercial experience working with brands.
Experience working with Ad Tech providers (such as Citrus Ad).
Relevant experience working in a brand and marketing team for a Supplier, Retailer or Agency.
Proven ability to analyse campaigns and interpret data to make informed decisions.
