Job summary

Certas Energy is recruiting a Retail Food Service Assistant for our Glasgow site on Aikenhead Rd. You’ll help prepare quality food and deliver friendly customer service while keeping tills accurate and stations clean.

You'll join a busy team, receive full training, and benefit from a pension, life assurance, and access to the Retail Academy as part of a growing national business. 18+ years old and able to work 12 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• A passion for customer service and food preparation.
• A positive, reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Food service or retail experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to licensing regulations and lone working requirements.

• Preparing and serving hot and cold food and beverages to company standards.
• Providing friendly and professional customer service.
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently at the till.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness.
• Replenishing stock and ensuring food displays are well presented.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety and company procedures.
• Supporting the smooth operation of the forecourt, store and food service area.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Food Service Assistant to join our team. As part of our store team, you’ll play a key role in both customer service and food preparation. You’ll help deliver a high-quality food offer while ensuring an excellent customer experience and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
