Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is recruiting Elite security officers in the United Kingdom to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a highly visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour.

You will be required to hold a current SIA licence and provide a full 5-year checkable history. The role offers contracted hours, paid breaks, and comprehensive training as part of Mitie’s benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Deliver industry leading customer service in a security role.
• Create a safe environment by preventing crime and reducing fear for customers and colleagues.
• Manage anti-social behaviour and build positive relationships with those involved.
• Engage with the public with a welcoming, professional presence.
• Assist the public and visitors with queries, demonstrating excellent customer service.
• Support policing and crime partnerships to help reduce crime in-store.
• Wear Body Worn CCTV to assist crime reduction and safety.

Vetting
It is vital that you have a full 5-year checkable employment/education history, failure to do so could mean your offer will be withdrawn or your employment stopped.

Main Duties

• To deliver industry leading customer service
• To create a safe environment, free from crime and the fear of crime for customer and colleagues
• To manage anti-social behaviour and build relationships with those that cause this
• Engage with members of the public by providing a welcoming presence
• Support the public and visitors with their queries in a friendly and polite manner by demonstrating excellent customer service
• Support the Police and crime partnerships where required to aid with the reduction of crime in store
• To wear Body Worn CCTV to support in the reduction of crime and increase colleague and customer safety
