Job description

Retail Driver

Retail & Asset Solutions are hiring NOW with immediate starts available. This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region.

Responsibilities

• Notify your count team of the pick‑up points and timings for each shift.
• Escalate any vehicle issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Complete a team attendance sheet detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
• Ensure stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner while on site.
• Stand for prolonged periods of time; use access equipment on occasion to reach high stock.

Key Skills / Experience Required

• Work unsociable hours, early mornings or night shifts; we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21.
• Hold a Full Driving Licence.
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• Be a quick learner; technology changes regularly.
• Experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.

• Salary: £13.78 inclusive of holiday pay (£12.30 per hour + £1.48 holiday pay) + enhancements.
