About

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Partnerships team who believes in delivering exceptional service, spotting growth opportunities, building strong and long‑lasting relationships with travel agents and regional sales managers, and using data effectively. Everyone says they are looking for someone special and we really mean it!

You will be dealing with travel agents across the south of England on a daily basis. Using your personality, relationships and sales skills you will identify key areas of growth and put plans in place to grow sales and launch products.

You will spend a lot of your time on the road visiting travel agencies, attending managers meetings, conferences and travel events. Some of your time will be spent abroad attending travel agency conferences. Although this is a remote role, it is very much a field‑based position rather than a home‑based one.

The Partnerships team is a hugely important part of our business; it’s why our suppliers value Holiday Extras so much – we can gain access to partners they cannot. Partnerships are a huge source of trip information which can be fed back into the business and used to benefit us and the customer.

Now is a very exciting time to join the Partnerships team as we go on an international mission to grow our partners.

The Role

By joining our team you’ll:

  • Act as a contact person for our travel agent partners.
  • Continuously update and promote the further development of a sustainable sales model.
  • Maintain regular contact with our travel agent partners and provide performance reports to promote growth using your knowledge of the travel industry, products, sales marketing and commercial skills.
  • Report on, evaluate and implement appropriate sales measures to optimise performance.
  • Continuously develop the partnerships and optimise the framework conditions, demonstrating integrity and building a high level of trust for lasting and productive relationships.
  • Have excellent professional presentation and communication skills and be able to communicate the Holiday Extras brand and culture at trade fairs, events and meetings both internally and externally.
What you can bring to our team
  • A depth and wealth of experience in the UK travel industry.
  • Excellent networking skills – you’ll take every opportunity to talk about Holiday Extras.
  • A strong sales person with excellent commercial awareness.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of KPIs and trading forecasts.
  • An outgoing personality who loves new experiences and can proactively approach people.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and building rapport with different stakeholders.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working towards shared goals.

This role will include the need to travel extensively from time to time.

Every person’s career path is individual and different, so this is just a guide. If your experience doesn’t precisely match this you’re encouraged to apply so that we can discover your unique talents!
