Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres in Swansea is seeking a Retail Customer Advisor to deliver outstanding service, assist customers across the store, and promote the Dobbies Club membership while driving sales. You will work with a team to keep the store clean and welcoming, handle queries with product knowledge, and gain skills across stock, cash handling, and in-store operations.

This role offers a great introduction to retail, with friendly colleagues, opportunities to learn, and a supportive culture

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Ability to work well in a team and stay positive in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and presentable appearance.
• Willingness to learn new skills and develop across store operations.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service across the store and assisting customers with transactions.
• Driving sales through customer interactions, while promoting the Dobbies Club membership benefits.
• Providing product knowledge to answer customer queries and guide purchases.
• Maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of the store, creating a welcoming environment.
• Assisting on shopfloor and other areas as required, including stock, cash handling, and deliveries.

Our Retail Customer Advisors play an essential role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across our stores - driving sales, promoting customer loyalty and ensuring high department standards.

Responsibilities

• Giving great customer service by helping customers with various transactions across the store
• Driving sales through customer interactions, whilst promoting the benefits of the Dobbies Club membership
• Offering a helping hand with customer queries through great product knowledge
• Working with your team to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of your store
• You will also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as and when required, this may include working stock, cash handling, take to car deliveries, stock control routines, restaurant services - an ideal opportunity to gain more skills and experience
