Job summary

Tesco in the United Kingdom is hiring store colleagues to join our teams as a valuable contact point for customers. You will help with shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking and occasional delivery support, while delivering friendly, confident service that keeps stores running smoothly.

We offer a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, with some roles starting at 12 hours and shifts scheduled with notice.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 for this role.
• Passion for delivering great service and greeting customers with a smile.
• Build rapport to ensure customers leave with a great experience.
• Use initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
• Work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun and celebrating success.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
