Job summary

Primark Huddersfield is seeking a Retail Assistant for a fixed term contract until 2 January 2027. The role is part-time (8 hours per week) with weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays between 6am-6pm. Applicants must be 18+ and have UK right to work.

• Provide excellent customer service and assist with sizes, styles, purchases or returns.
• Keep shop floor tidy with full shelves and neat fitting rooms.
• Handle till tasks, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receive and price deliveries and ensure products are on display.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
Employment type: Fixed term contract until 2nd January 2027
Job type: Part time only
Contracted hours: 08 hours per week
Shift pattern: Saturday and Sunday, various hours available between 6am-6pm on weekends only – all will be discussed at interview.

What you’ll do

As a Retail Assistant you’ll be making customer’s day, every day. Here’s a taste of what that looks like in action.

• Providing customers with an amazing experience as you assist them with things like sizes or styles, purchases or returns.
• Setting up a good looking shop floor with full shelves, tidy fitting rooms, and a sales floors that showcases all the latest fashions.
• Deliver a fast and friendly experience at till points, processing queries, voids and returns.
• Receiving, unpacking, and checking off new deliveries. Getting our products our onto the sales floor making sure they are correctly priced – all while making sure everything meets our high standards.
