Retail Assistant – Part Time (Evenings & Weekends)

Location: Albion Retail Park, Blyth. Position: Permanent part‑time.

Contract

Hours: Minimum 12 hours across 3 days per week (including weekday evenings and all day Saturday & Sunday). Rotations planned 3 weeks in advance. Position code: PTRA.

Pay

• Age 16‑20: £10.10 per hour
• Age 21+: £12.31 per hour

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and a simple hello.
• Help customers find items they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack, leave a good impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care while working deliveries, quickly placing products into freezers and shelves for customers to buy.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy.
