Job summary

Primark Stores Limited in Reading is hiring a Nights Retail Assistant on a part-time, fixed-term contract until 02 January 2027. The role runs weekends only, with shifts between 12:00am and 4:00am, and 16 hours per week at £13 per hour.

You’ll reset and replenish stock, price changes clearly, manage stock and stock transfers, and keep a tidy stockroom. Candidates must be 18+ and have right to work in the UK.

• Maintain a tidy and well-organised stockroom.

Location: Primark New Reading
Pay rate: £13.00 per hour
Employment type: Fixed term contract until2nd January 2027
Job type: Part time
Contracted hours: 16 hours per week
Shift pattern: Weekends only, will be discussed at interview.
As the shifts require work between the hours of 12-4am, all candidates must be 18+ to be considered.

Eligibility.

• You must have right to work eligibility in the UK. Please verify the contracted hours for this role if you have visa restrictions that limit the hours you can work.
• Applicants must be aged 18 or over as the role requires regular working hours before 6:00am or after 11:00pm, due to legal restrictions on the working hours of young workers.

What you’ll do

As a Nights Retail Assistant, you’ll be working hard at night to provide our customers with an amazing experience as soon as they step through the front door the next morning. Here’s what this looks like in action:

• Resetting the salesfloor, including creating eye-catching displays and replenishing the stock on the shelves.
• Making sure the stock is correctly priced and that any price changes are clear and visible to customers.
• Handling all stock, stock transfers, deliveries, and removing items from the salesfloor that don’t meet our high standards.
• Implement any changes to the salesfloor, such as layout.
• Keeping a tidy and well‑organised stockroom.
