Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is hiring a Retail Assistant for our Wakefield store on Horbury Road. This is a permanent full-time role, 39 hours per week across five days, with pay between £10.95 and £12.81 per hour depending on age.

You will welcome customers, help them find items and provide fast, friendly till service in a busy retail environment. Benefits include 6 weeks’ holiday, 15% staff discount, life assurance, a pension, and a staff benefits package with extras such as a virtual GP.

Responsibilities

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly hello.
• Help customers find items and provide fast till service.
• Assist with packing and ensure a positive till experience.
• Handle stock and deliveries, keeping shelves updated and tidy.
• Work with the team to complete daily routines and keep the shop safe and clean.
