Overview

Retail Assistant - Full Time

Hours: 39 hours across 5 days per week.

Pay: £10.10 - £12.31 per hour.

Location: Yardley, West Midlands. This is a permanent 39 hour full time position with a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week. For full time positions, flexibility in availability throughout the week, including weekends, is generally required.

Responsibilities

• Make all of our customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and simple hello.
• Help customers find the items that they are looking for.
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offer help to pack, and leave a positive impression with a friendly thank you and goodbye.
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries, placing products into freezers and onto shelves for customers to buy.
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep shops safe, clean and tidy.

You will need

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• Enjoy being busy; balance deliveries, till work, customer service, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliability as an important part of a small team; colleagues and customers depend on you to do your best on each shift.
• Flexibility with shifts. Rota's are planned three weeks in advance; outside commitments will be considered when planning shifts.
